Privacy Policy

1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy (the «Policy») describes what data the Cue service (the «Service», «we», «us»), available at cue.earth, collects and processes when you use its features. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the Service.

2. Data we collect

When you use the Service, we may collect the following categories of data:

• Account data: Your email address and a hashed password (for email sign-up), or authentication tokens (for Google OAuth sign-in).
• Resume text and profiles: The text content of uploaded PDF resumes and pasted text, along with the structured profile of skills and experience derived from it.
• Job descriptions: The text and URLs of job postings you add to your application pipeline.
• Interview transcripts: Text transcriptions of audio produced while the Live assistant is running. The audio itself is not recorded or stored on our servers — only the speech-recognition text result is processed.
• Usage data: Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, the pages and features you interact with, and request timestamps.

3. How we use your data

The data we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

• Providing the core features of the Service: generating adapted resumes, cover letters, and interview prompts.
• Authenticating and managing your account.
• Improving the quality of the Service based on aggregated, anonymized usage statistics.
• Sending notifications about changes to the terms of use or this Privacy Policy.

4. Use of AI and third-party data sharing

To power AI-based features (text generation, resume analysis, interview prompts), your data may be sent via API to third-party large language model (LLM) providers, in particular Anthropic, Groq, and other providers that meet the requirements of this Policy. In doing so:

• Your data is sent solely to generate a response to a specific request and is not retained by the provider longer than necessary to process that request, in accordance with the provider's own privacy policy.
• Your data is not used to train, fine-tune, or otherwise adjust third-party foundation language models.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Payment processing

Payments for Pro access are processed by Creem, our third-party payment provider and merchant of record. Creem may receive the data necessary to process your payment, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable legal and financial regulations. Cue does not store your card or other payment credentials — this information is handled exclusively by Creem in accordance with its own privacy policy.

6. Data storage

Data is stored on secure Supabase servers (AWS infrastructure). We apply industry-standard security measures: encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Data is retained for the lifetime of your account. After you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 calendar days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your rights

At any time you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we process about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw your consent to processing, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
• Receive a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (the right to data portability).

8. Cookies

The Service uses essential technical cookies to maintain your authentication session. Analytics cookies (where used) are applied in an aggregated, anonymized form to improve the Service. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may break some Service features.

9. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy. For material changes, we will notify you by email or post a corresponding notice on the Service at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
